Today I was having breakfast at your city stars branch and I had a very poor experience.
First your head waiter - as the supervisor called him- told us that the breakfast is only served till 12:45 although I asked him to take the order and start in 10 minutes, which is clearly before 12:45 as it was 12:30.
When he started serving the dishes, we asked for a missing item, and he said it's not available, and I'll get you an alternative.
10 minutes later he got the alternative, and whenever we ask for anything, he doesn't acknowledge as if he's not listening.
When we asked for our cheque to pay we asked to take the remaining food to go, they started collecting plates on top of each other in a way that would make it disgusting to take the remaining food.
They even dropped some of the food on the floor not sure if it's on purpose though as it happened twice with other tables, which I think is due to lack of training.
When I asked for the remaining of the dishes to packed to go, I had 2 other waiters asking do you want all of them?! As if I'm taking something which I haven't paid for!
Your staff communication is not professional and definitely lacks basic customers service skills.
Right before I leave I asked to speak to the manager, a nice lady came and heard our feedback, she apologized and insisted that the waiter must be punished!! I was surprised to be honest as I told her I think he lacks training, because that was our experience with the other 2 waiters who also served our table, so she'd better give them proper training rather than punish them!!
A few minutes later we had someone coming to our table asking for what happened, I was a bit confused as he didn't introduce himself, neither did the previous lady who spoke to us as the manager.
I asked him who he was and then he introduced himself as the manager.
I honestly think all your staff need some serious customer service training including managers as well.
Will never consider going there again.
