TGI Friday's — Restaurant in Cairo

I had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at TGI Friday’s! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.

Now, let’s talk about the food—everything was simply perfect! I ordered the salmon with sautéed veggies and a side of broccoli, and I was blown away by how well it was prepared. The salmon was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and juicy with just the right seasoning. The veggies were fresh and well-seasoned, adding a great balance to the meal. We also got twisted fries, which were crispy, golden, and the perfect guilty pleasure. My friend ordered the grilled chicken with fries and rice, and they were just as impressed. The chicken was juicy, well-seasoned, and packed with flavor, while the rice was fluffy and well-cooked.

One of the things I truly appreciated was how everything tasted like home—comforting, familiar, and made with care. It’s not always easy to find a place that gets everything right, but TGI Friday’s nailed it.

On top of the amazing food, the service was exceptional. Our server was attentive, always checking in without being intrusive, and made sure our drinks were topped up and that we were enjoying our meal. The food also arrived promptly, hot, and fresh, which is always a big plus.

I am sorry, but this was one of the two worst steaks I’ve had in my life.

It was the first day of Ramadan and I did not eat all day out of respect for my friends and colleagues. At sundown I went to the City of Stars mall. Great mall! Love the mall! I was hungry and could have eaten cardboard, which probably would have been better than the steak.

The waitress was friendly, attentive, and well trained and I tipped her generously to make sure she knew I appreciated her.

The onion rings were excellent and the best part of the meal.

The side salad was fine and a good portion.

The large cut of the strip steak was horrific. Strip is the key word. A strip of silver skin ran all the way through it and two ran opposite. Cutting a piece of meat with the steak knife was useless. I threw 90% of the steak away. The meat tasted as if the animal had been starved before butchering it. Bad, bad, bad! The picture looks great but do not be deceived.

I visited city stars branch with my family, it has been the Worst food experience i had ever had. I tried the steak with 2 sides and mushroom sauce. The steak and the sauce were almost burn with no flavor at all. The 2 sides were mash potatoes and mac&cheese both were disaster, i can do better at home. The mash potato was hard and taste awful the mac& cheese was a joke, it came in a penna shape macaroni with a rosy weird sauce and taste worst than it looks. I had to change it and instead i ordered coleslaw and fries which i recommend to buy from kfc. The whole experience was very bad and i regret paying such amount of money on that dish i didn't want to ruin my family gathering whom were not also happy with their warrior burgers but for sure no more fridays for me , family , friends anymore.
