Amazing experience at the Le Petit Chef. Fancy but not too fancy.

All the food tasted wonderful. Every dish was as good as the next. It was truly an exquisite experience.

The price was very cheap compared to other countries. We paid 2500 egp pr person.

The servers were not the best. Expected more for a four seasons restaurant. The servers would ask if you were done with your food, even tho you had placed your utensils in the finish position, had pushed the plate away and had completely finished your plate. Other times they would take your food while you were still eating. They just left a drinks menu on our table and never came to ask about it. They first asked and awkwardly removed the drinks card after the third course! And they were so bad at placing the utensils and the plates. The plates would be turned sideways or off center or something different between everyone eating every time. Which made it extra confusing for the video. The servers would also place utensils randomly. They do not seem professional nor educated.

Worst of all! There was oftenly not enough time to enjoy your food! Me and my friend are fast eaters. But even for us there was barely enough time to finish our dishes. We were rushed and the next video started with people still eating and not ready to continue.

The restaurant itself is in the basement of the boat which seems a little weird. No water view or anything. It makes sense for the video since it's a projector but still felt weird.

The food itself and the video saved this whole experience. The food was so great. Every single dish. However it did not feel very multi cultual as the 4 different ethinicity tiny chefs were supposed to simulate. For example; The desert being a chocolate mousse did not feel very japanese. The dish was amazing. But not very japanese.

There was a lot of children at the restaurant which was loud and ruined the experience a little.

The location was perfect. Near the center and close to the nile. Little tough to get to. We...

Food: of the courses to be served warm, all of them were room temperature or cold. The food quality was also very poor, potatoes were stale, veggies not cooked through properly and also very cold. Service: All of the staff was very friendly however they created a very rushed environment to ensure all guests would be done before their next dinner service. The staff also showed very poor etiquette when it came to setting cutlery and cleared plates from my table before everyone at my table was finished with their course. The only plus point I can really give in this category is that they frequently filled our waters and quickly. Atmosphere: their animation concept is very Disney like, very much targeted towards younger guests and was generally poor as titles such as “beef.mp4” showing in the footer of the video/animation. I’m not one to complain nor make bad reviews however in this case I felt the social responsibility to share my experience considering how poor it was from A-Z, ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THE PRICE I’d consider it a catastrophe. Would not recommend under any circumstance…unless you explicitly want to...

We went for my wife's birthday. First of all the service was great and the staff were extremely nice. The show is good, adults and kids enjoy it a lot. The only issue with the restaurant is that they allow people to smoke icos in the restaurant, the restaurant is closed with AC on so after a bit all the place smelled of icos smoke.

My wife does not eat cheese so for the first 2 courses she got a green salad and for the second course she got a red sauce pasta.

For the food, both salads were very good. The ravioli and pasta were very nice, they were everyone favorites (people vote at the end for the best dish).

The biggest disappointment were the steaks they were cooked more of a well done rather then medium and there taste was mu.ch less than expected. The shrimps were very good. The vegetables were very good as well.

The dessert was not the best dish, lots of people just got a taste and left the rest of the dish

The birthday cake was better than the dessert.

Soft drinks and juice are included in the price.

It's definitely worth a try, lots of people had kids and they enjoyed...
