The most unprofessional and discriminatory cafe I’ve ever encountered.
I’ve traveled extensively and visited countless venues around the world, but I have never experienced the level of disrespect, unprofessionalism, and outright discrimination that I witnessed at this place. I made seven different attempts to visit on different days and at various times, and each time I was met with a new level of absurdity.
The manager, if you can even call him that, was shockingly rude, arrogant, and acted like he was running some back-alley nightclub. The place operates with a shady, “ghetto” attitude that has no place in a professional setting—let alone one that welcomes the public. On one occasion, the manager had the audacity to ask if we were bringing females with us—and said we would only be allowed in if they were attractive enough. Excuse me? Since when is entry based on someone’s looks?
This kind of toxic, misogynistic, and discriminatory behavior is absolutely disgusting. Even worse, the attitude toward tourists was clearly biased. It felt like we were being profiled and treated differently just because we weren’t locals. If this place wants to run a private club for their friends, they should stop pretending they’re open to the public.
I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—unless you’re into being judged, disrespected, and turned away for completely arbitrary and offensive reasons. There are plenty of better cafes that don’t treat people like garbage. Avoid this place...
Read moreMy first and last time with this racist Restaurant, I called 4 hours before i reach to this restaurant to reserve a table for two for a special occasion, A lady called Noor answered my call and made it clear they don’t take reservations and it is first come first serve basis, we arrived early and I requested again a table with a view which was available at the moment but Noor refused claiming that tables with views are only for large groups and cannot be for a couple, During our dinner on a different table we have noticed many Non-Egyptians couples who came and set on different view tables, I confronted the receptionist who called the manager ( Ehab ) he asked for my number as we were about to leave as he promised he would call me later to discuss the issue, which he never done. I would never repeat this experience again and I would recommend trying other restaurants on both sides of the Nile who don’t have the same mentality. مطعم له سياسة عنصرية غير مقبولة لارضاء جنسيات معينة . اتمنى عدم تشجيع مثل هذه الاماكن التي تسيء للسمعه وتتصرف...
