% ARABICA ā Aesthetic Vibes, But the Coffee? Meh. āš¤·āāļø
Walking into % ARABICA feels like stepping into a minimalist coffee loverās dreamāsleek branding, Instagram-worthy interiors, and that distinct aroma in the air. šæāØ The vibe? 10/10. The experience? Unique. The actual coffee? ā¦Well, letās talk.
I went in with high hopes (because, hello, itās %ARABICAāa global name!). I ordered their Kyoto Coffee, the "best-seller" as recommended. First sip? Bitter. Too bitter. And Iām no stranger to strong coffee, but this needed way too much sugar to balance it out. š Whereās the smooth, rich depth I expected?
The menu is super limitedādonāt expect a wide range of creative drinks. Itās more about simplicity, but when the star of the show (the coffee itself) is just⦠okay, itās hard to justify the premium price tag.
The verdict?
ā Go for The aesthetic, the ambiance, a cool spot to sit and snap pics. Donāt go for Life-changing coffee. If youāre a true coffee snob, you might leave a little disappointed.
Final score? š„š„š„š„
6.5/10āāā ā Great vibes, but the coffee doesnāt live up to the hype (or the price). Stick to your usual specialty spots if flavor is...

I would like to say that the most fundamental problem with every coffee shop in egypt and eventually gonna be the problem here at Arabica, is the Milk.
Although I ordered a medium roast Flat White which is the Costa-Rica beans, which has a superb and amazing after taste, the watery texture and taste of milk takes 30 to 40% of the entire experience of the coffee.
I loved the coffee and I've chosen the medium roast as I'm always ordering it from abroad and specially from Dubai.
The prices are of course average to high comparing it to the price of a coffee cup in the middle east for example in Dubai or Saudi Arabia for 10 to 12 riyals.
But if we are comparing a flat white price in egypt which is 120 EGP, that's gonna be a lot.
Anyway the experience was OK, long line to order and I'm pretty sure about the hype making it more crowded.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreToday, I visited %Arabica at New Cairo Mall with my family. Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience with the service. There were five of us, and when my daughter started placing our coffee order, the cashierās attitude was rude and unprofessional.
After ordering two coffees, the cashier asked her, āDo you still want more, or is that enough?ā She politely replied that she wanted to order more, to which he responded, āWell, we have a long day today, guys.ā
Despite this, we completed our order of five coffees, but the interaction left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. We enjoy the coffee, but we hope the staff can be more respectful and considerate...
