Mayooti Cafe & Restaurant — Restaurant in South Sinai

Mayooti is an incredible place to land!

As a visitor with no friends or previous contacts here in Dahab, I was pretty nervous that I wouldn’t find community while visiting. That fear went away maybe 5 minutes after arriving at Mayooti.

Everyone was so immediately welcoming! I made friends with the owner, Moustafa, and all the people involved with Zeina Breakfast (which operates out of the same space and makes a kickass classic Egyptian breakfast.)

Everyone there helped me find everything else I needed or wanted to do in Dahab, like snorkeling and horseback riding, fishing and other outdoor adventures. I ended up spending most of my time at Mayooti singing with everyone and being there for the daily live music.

I had the most peaceful breakfast at this cozy seaside restaurant. The view of the turquoise water and the sound of the waves created the perfect relaxing atmosphere to start the day. The food was fresh and delicious — I had a sandwich with avocado and eggs, and it was perfectly seasoned. The staff were friendly and the vibe of the place was calm and welcoming. I visited Mayooti at night and absolutely loved the vibe. The tables are right on the beach, so you're literally dining with your feet in the sand, under the stars. I had a milkshake and some food, and everything tasted great fresh and satisfying. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the whole place had such a chill, relaxed atmosphere.
