Puerto Marisco | San Benito — Restaurant in San Salvador

A great place to satisfy (y)our seafood cravings!

We were walking around the neighborhood of San Benito in search of dinner and got curious with this place. We sat down and unfortunately the table we picked was under blue led lights, which explains the last couple photos. Having said that, we enjoyed our first dinner that we went back to try other dishes the next night!!

Both times service was good, servers were friendly, area was neat, bathroom was clean. It's open air so keep that in mind. The food came out in reasonable times, the drinks were refreshing, the prices were fair we thought.

This seafood restaurant seems to be an iconic spot, but the experience was a bit underwhelming. The food was good, but not great, and the service left a lot to be desired. Our food took forever to arrive, and they even forgot one of the items we ordered at the beginning. We had to ask multiple times for simple things like straws and silverware. On the bright side, the drinks were very inexpensive. If you plan to visit, bring a lot of patience because everything moves at...

Ceviche did not impressed me. I've try better one in other places, but what it kills me was the "cheese cake" OMG it was hard has rock dry like a desert. My wife took a bite and spits it, my son took a bite and almost throw away, my mother in law also spits it. I ask to be removed from the ticket and they did not removed it.
