Recien Horneado — Restaurant in San Salvador

We were 3 adults on this visit, the place was a happy surprise hidden inside a cozy area with other food businesses. The business has 2 locations, one in front and the big one in the back of the property, both with outdoors seating area. The menu is a sinful temptation for diabetics and super fit people, so I gave in. The coffee was tasteful and complemented the flavorful pastries.... The location is a very calm place.

2nd visit, today we were 3 adults on a Saturday afternoon, we observed that the business had added an indoor/outdoor area with the same great taste as the rest of the restaurant. We ordered coffee and a ham and cheese Tapas , the humus was absolutely incredible, but nothing compares to the attention from all the people working at the location, specially Alejandra Cruz that made the visit a special event by sending a pink sweet pastry to my wife (who is visibly battling breast cancer) and Julia the manager at the location who took the time to ask about the ham and cheese dish. Service was AWFUL! First and last time here. The host told us it would be a 50 minute wait with 3 empty tables then she changed her mind when we said we would leave and couldn’t wait that long. Then we waited 15-20 mins for someone to come and take our order. Finally someone came to take the order of a table that got there after us and I told the waitress to please take our order first since we got there before them and no one came to take our order. The drinks came out late, the food came out late and the table next to us got their drinks and food before us. This is a big NO. Very disorganized and unprofessional. The food was ok subpar. Pésima experiencia. Nunca en mi vida habíamos pasado por algo tan decepcionante.

Contratamos sus servicios para el bautizo de mi hija, incluyendo comida, una bebida por persona y café con refill. Lo mínimo que esperábamos era cumplimiento y respeto por lo acordado. La comida fue servida con una hora de retraso. En cuanto a las bebidas, lo que hicieron fue completamente inaceptable: de una lata de Coca-Cola servían a dos personas, y de una botella de té Lipton, a tres. Esto no solo es una falta de ética, es un engaño.

Al final del evento, había 26 bebidas sin servir (Coca-Cola y té), que ustedes habían apartado deliberadamente y luego intentaron guardar sin entregarlas. Al reclamar lo evidente —que no se cumplió con una bebida por persona como estaba estipulado—, primero negaron todo, luego reconocieron el “error”, pero aún así pretendían cobrarlas. Insólito. Yo no estaba reclamando el contrato, estaba exigiendo justicia por lo que claramente fue una estafa. Finalmente, uno de los meseros me ofreció descontar solo 20 bebidas y que me llevara 6, como si me estuvieran haciendo un favor.

En cuanto al café con refill, solo servían una taza por persona, incumpliendo abiertamente lo prometido.

Y para colmo, cobraron descorche de pastel por persona, cuando ni siquiera todos recibieron pastel, incluyéndome a mí. Esto es un abuso.

Solicitamos hablar con el gerente. La respuesta del personal fue ignorarnos completamente, y uno de los meseros terminó saliendo del lugar...
