The decor is eccentric and extravagant — think bold colors, quirky art. The owner who was present was quite eccentric as well, welcomed us and offered a seat right away. It was bit strange, but definitely made for an interesting setting. The french bulldog sculptures were a nice touch as well as the decoration on the ceiling.

We ate shakshuka and the fried chicken belgian waffle combo. The shakshuka was nice, however nothing exceptional, similar of tomato/paprika stews eaten elsewhere. The poached egg was just right, runny on the inside. The chicken was a mixed experience. The waffles weren't exactly Belgian, but still sweet combined with a rather greasy chicken. The breading was the highlight and tasted nice. There was some pomegranate seeds and some sallad leaves too, which could have been a bit more. It was a bit too eccentric of a combination all in all.

We got a latte and a chai latte for drinks. The latte was quite usual, nothing out of ordinary. The chai latte was the right sweetness to my taste, and as it is usually case could have done well with more spices, so a bit lacking in that department.

The most pronounced limitation here was the price though. It all felt overpriced for what we actually got. The amount was okay, could have been a bit more for this price.

The services was quite adequate, staffed by whom seemed to be student workers. They were all very nice and spoke English well, nothing amiss there.

All in all not bad, a bit quirky and little weirder when it came to the atmosphere and the food was more of a mixed experience that needs a bit of a fine-tuning, and a bit lacking in the quantity. It would be a recommend had it not been...

We visited this small and cozy brunch place and were immediately impressed by the charming atmosphere and well-thought-out menu. The food was generally good, and there’s clear attention to quality in the kitchen.

However, there were a few areas that could use improvement:

Staff Attitude: While the staff was polite, they appeared tired. A bit more enthusiasm and smiles would really enhance the guest experience.

Poached Eggs: A key brunch item like poached eggs should be done right. Unfortunately, ours were overcooked and more like hard-boiled, which takes away from the texture and flavor you expect from a poached egg.

Coffee Inconsistencies: We ordered three coffees, and each came at a noticeably different temperature. One was even returned because it was too cold. Consistency here is important—especially at brunch, where coffee is a centerpiece for many guests.

Some smoothies Unavailable: It was a bit disappointing to hear that some smoothies were already sold out on a Wednesday morning. That seems unusual and gave the impression that the place wasn’t fully prepared for the day.

Despite these issues, we still had a generally positive experience. With a few small improvements, this could be an outstanding brunch spot. We look forward to giving it another try...

I had high expectation before I came here as it has really good reviews. However when I finally made it to visit, it’s 14:40 which supposed to close at 5 pm as indicated on Google map. ( I visited on 10 October, they have modified the time since.) At first, the female staff didn’t seem want to take my order, she told me the cafe is closed at 4 pm. I assumed that they didn’t expect any more customers coming at that time, she made me feel that I was not welcomed maybe because she wanted to relax and getting ready to finish work earlier.

When I asked her about the avocado toast, she just rudely told me that if it’s not on the menu, then they didn’t serve it. Whenever I asked her a question, she always answered me unwillingly as if I was bothering her and wasting her time. Soon after I sat down , they got more and more customers. Her attitude to others seemed nice, and I always spoke to her politely with “please” and smiled. I hope it’s not because racial discrimination as it seems most people got good experience here but me.

Regardless how much I enjoyed the food I ordered, I don’t think I will visit this place ever again—-the worst service I...
