My wife and I stayed the nights of July 25th and 26th. We arrived right at the check in time of 2pm. We arrived on foot, walking from the Viking ferry building. Carrying a small backpack, and pulling along a wheeled carry on bag, the walk from the ferry building took around 15 minutes. The hotel was easy to find. We were greeted right away, and were in our room in short order. The room was very nice. Fairly spacious. It looked and smelled good. Everything worked well. Our room was on the 3rd floor? It overlooked what I considered to be the back of the hotel. And an oftentimes busy and noisy street. Especially motorcycles. It was an unusually warm couple of days, so we needed to keep some windows open overnight, and use the supplied fan, to keep somewhat cool. With that though, we had to deal with all sorts of noisy motorcycles outside our windows. This went on through the early morning hours. Other than the motorcycle noise, we loved the hotel. Everyone we met, working at the hotel, was wonderful. Olga was one of the 2 wonderful front desk ladies. And Natalia, working in the breakfast area, was so very nice to us. So fun to visit with her, and talk about all of the great breakfast offerings she had available. The breakfasts were so very good. We did not go away hungry. Such nice people working at the hotel. We had a very nice visit. And if we had the chance, we...
Read moreWe came today to spend our last night in Estonia, we've been in Tallin before because was our first stop in this trip so we know that when it's warm you need fan air at least in your room. We choosed this hotel because in the description said fan air and double bed. We could choose other hotel but this one have what we need at reasonable price. The location is great and we wanted to spend the day walking and enjoying tallin so the only thing we need was a ventilator and a double bed! So when we came and saw the room we went to the reception, we complain about what happened and they said to us..sorry is fully booked and we only have 5 ventilators in the hotel!!!?? I've said that is not what I payed for...and they only say sorry...you can put the bed together! The room is minisize, beds are really small, bathroom...you can shower yourself in the toilet because is really small, they have a lot of noise if you open the window and no curtains enough to stop the light in the morning..so you will wake up really soon(noise and light are not a good combination) The breakfast is included but there's no much room...it's small and tasteless and you have to wait quite a lot because the toaster only allows 2 pieces at a time.. Terrible experience. Reading the description looks like perfect but it's terrible..it's better to go to a hostel it's cheaper and you will have the...
Read moreThis is a great hotel well placed for exploring the old town . I stayed for 4 nights recently . The lobby area is welcoming and the staff are great . My airline misplaced my luggage for 24 hours and reception really helped me out organising calls and kindly held it at reception safely when it was delivered . The restaurant ( only open for breakfast) serves a decent breakfast buffet which includes hot options like eggs , sausages and meatballs. The cold options are good with meats , cheeses and a selection of salad and fruit options . The coffee is decent . the ladies that work in there are friendly and welcoming
My room was a good size and on The 4th floor , the bathroom was a bit tight but nothing too bad . Room is well appointed with a desk , comfortable bed , somewhere to hang clothes and windows that open . Seen a few comments about small rooms but mine was a good size on the 4th floor with a double bed
The only thing I would have appreciated would be a kettle in the room so I could fix myself a hot drink when I wanted . They do have a small selection of snacks and coffees at reception but the coffee is just the same as the breakfast one and costs 3 euros
Overall very impressed. A really nice stay right on the edge of the old town and would happily stay...
