Addendum to response. I find it difficult to understand why you expect customers to respect your standards if you prioritize those “standards” over their needs.

How exactly does a small dog held in its owner’s arms pose a hygiene risk? I genuinely don’t see the issue.

What does a customer waiting outside for a take-away order have to do with ones sitting with dogs at the table, which you’re against (on that I do agree), as you stated in your response? (I clearly told your staff that I needed a takeaway.)

How do eight years of your hard work (which I do acknowledge and respect) justify your unwillingness to retain a loyal customer? We purchased from you regularly — your quality suited us, and your location was convenient. Unfortunately, we no longer feel welcome.

Instead of addressing the actual service issue, you chose a dismissive tone (your “not up to debate”and “Period” remarks made that clear). This kind of “principled” stance seems misplaced; you would be better off being principled in being nice to customers.

In the end, not only have you lost a customer, but you’ve also left the impression of being needlessly dismissive.

This was honestly the best service i had. I went with my family after a trip to a museum, and my sister spilled a cup of coffe, but the worker (or possibly owner) immediatley came out of the kitchen with a mop and cleaned up the spill while telling my dad that he has his own kids, and he understands that this can happen. Also when we came in. The tv was playing a sports channel, but when we ordered the same guy mentioned before came out and changed the channel to disney xd scince my family has four kids including me. This man truly deserves a raise if he isn't the owner of the restaurant. The food was good, but the burger lacked some flavor that i have tasted in a mcdonnalds burger. Very friendly welcome today. Checked out their good reviews before my arrival in Tallinn; found myself needing an urgent call of nature as well as wanting a burger good timing in actual fact. Delicious beef burger with lettuce, tomatoes, gurkin and source. Decent sized coffee was also welcome. Fries were far too salty for me. Must keep our salt levels low when you have a high BP. The owner spoke good English and once lived in the UK. The outside eating area was basic and rustic with limited seating, however, you'll be met by quite a few happy sparrows all wanting a potatoe chip without hassel. How can one refuse:) Would call again for a burger & coffee...
