Interesting place displaying interesting arts, at the time of visit a lot of videos addressing the topic of xenophobia. If you plan spending a visit, really take some time to see the quite interesting videos that each take between 20 and 30 minutes. The access is free (!) and although it’s a small space decided over three floors, you can easily spend a few hours there.

Current exposition Xenos (13.07-25.08.2019) has just right amount of content for a comfortable visit (photos, installations, cinema rooms - one is built right on the roof and has heavily sloping floor, and even a small garden as a cherry on top). Seamless exhibition booklet (both in Estonian and English) contributes into deeper understanding of things.

I called the museum to ask about the room rental and checked with a person if they speak in English because I don't speak good Estonian. Asking complicated question in English would be easier for me. The young person was sadly very rude, raising voice at me and asking why should they tell me if they speak English - it's personal question. It is not a personal question, it is your job to be polite and help the people who call and ask questions. Not saying anything about raising voice and being extremely rude. Very bad experience! Such people should not work with customers or learn...

The gallery is run by artists and it shows in the exhibits. The show at the time of my visit was based on a post-apocalyptic world and it was one of the most genuinely creepy and unnerving experiences I've had. The curatorial choices were bold and a range of sculpture and installation pieces were represented. I left with a sense of what the practice and meaning of contemporary art is in Tallinn and a lot to...
