I had a delightful meal here last night. Upon my arrival, service was efficient and welcoming. I appreciated the list of do and don'ts etiquette at the start of the menu. I often wonder if I am doing anything which inadvertently offends another culture! 🤣 Was grateful for the guidebook.
I ordered a fried chilli chicken wings dish for my appetiser. Wow! I am not exaggerating, these are the best wings I've ever had. The sauce was so damn tasty and delicious. The chicken was succulent with just the right amount of crisp on the outside. My lips had a nice burn after from the chilli, it was rated 1 chilli for spiciness which I thought was fair, but made me think you would be brave to try anything marked with 2! Of course these ratings are according to authentic Thai cuisine so bear this in mind when ordering. I am melancholic because since I am here for a quick visit, I will probably never have those amazing chicken wings again.
My pad thai for main with prawns was also delicious. Prawns tasted fresh and you got given a fair amount. I saw criticisms that the pad thai is too sweet but I have definitely had sweeter. I found it to be very enjoyable.
I have seen some comments about the high price. You get what you pay for! It definitely was not extortionate. I thought it was decent pricing for the quality of food you got. Particularly considering this small business is not bending to cater fusion thai to be more appealing, but sticking to their principles within their food making and creations.
All in all, a really lovely meal. Thank you New...
Read moreI've ordered from this place many times using Bolt, a lot of times my order gets canceled but I was in the area and decided to come in and give it a try.
It has a feel of the American Thai Restaurants in California and Nevada, a very home feeling for us US Expats. The waitress spoke great English and understood me easily as well.
They have lunch specials during the week, I am here at 1PM (13:00).
This is the ONLY place in Estonia with real Thai Chicken Satay. Only later did I find out they now offer Thai Tea, but that was the only missing thing from my meal.
If you want pretty authentic Thai food and somewhat similar to US this is the spot. Please know that it is EU, so portions are not as big as US Thai place's but it's definitely good for one person, not for sharing per se.
Regardless, it's a great feeling to have an "exotic" cuisine in this part of the world.
Also, if you're German or Estonian and not sure whay spicy is that isn't table Pepper or Paprika, be ready for flavourful cuisine that may make your nose run a bit, but accept it and...
Read moreI had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The service was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and explained everything thoroughly. The food was simply outstanding. Although I don't recall the exact name of the main dish we had, it was chicken in a coconut milk sauce served with rice, and the flavor was incredible. The spring rolls were delightfully crispy, and the wings were perfectly soft and spicy. For dessert, we had Khao Niaow Mamuang, a dish consisting of sticky rice with a white sauce that reminded me of macaroni and milk soup, accompanied by sliced mango. It was delicious and unique, with the combination of sauce and rice creating a pleasant flavor and texture. The food was very filling. They import most of their supplies from Thailand. The prices are quite low to consider that factor. I also appreciated that the first page of the menu included interesting insights into Thai culture, such as the tradition of sharing food and the etiquette of not leaving chopsticks in the dish as it symbolizes death. I highly...
