Angus Steakhouse — Restaurant in Tórshavn

I really enjoyed having dinner here. I 9 days I spent here in the beautiful Faroe Islands I have been to Angus Steakhouse 3 times. Once in Klaksvik and twice in Torshavn. Service has always been outstanding, however tonight, I received the most professional service ever. It was my last day in the Faroe as tomorrow I am flying back to Italy. I wanted a seat by the window, so the waitress she was so amazingly professional and used a perfectly professional verbiage recommending me to back at 08:00 pm as all windows tables were already reserved. I backed a little earlier and the table was perfectly set up and even at the timing of ordering and paying the service was outstanding and really exceeded my expectations. Totally overrated with a plethora of unnecessary items (including the so called salad bar that had no real salad)! We had to book as they are always full (not sure why)! We ordered the 16 piece first course which McDonalds makes better; wanted to order the ribs but they were out of them (at 20:00). So we ordered the rib-eye and the “favorite” steak. The “favorite”was horrendous - yes, horrendous!! I don’t think that the chef has heard about spices, even salt or pepper. The rib-eye was tasteless but cooked to the medium rare that I asked. Meal was excellent. Highly recommend reservations though. We got lucky and they were able to squeeze us in before another party needed the table. I got the Angus Favorite steak and it was tender and cooked perfectly. Pepper sauce was good. Wife got the Black Angus burger and it was huge. Cooked well. Lots of flavor.
