Highly recommend booking an outing with Torshavn Sea Adventures. We booked the 2-hour boat trip one afternoon with luckily beautiful weather and saw puffins, seals, sea arches, and caves all around Nolsoy Island. Captain F was knowledgeable and friendly, and encouraged us to mill about the boat to view the Faroes from all angles. The floatation suits we wore also kept us nice and warm throughout our trip. First of all let me share that the Captain took me out to sea even as the only guest so that I don’t go home not having seen the puffins! So nice of him! The boat trip took 2 hours around the island of Nólsoy and we got to see many birds and puffins specifically.
