Skeiva pakkhús — Restaurant in Tórshavn

2024: Edit: We decided to give Pakkhús another go, and boy ohh boy have things changed. Well, the prices are still a bit on the higher side but both the service and the food have improved a great deal.

the potato Pizza is even better now, desserts are included in the menu. Wine pairing is good, and the make great cocktails as well.

Now we can actually recommend Skeiva Pakkhús. From 2 to 5 stars, what a comeback.

Old review, for referance!!!: Food here is average and there are so many better food options in Tórshavn, don't waste your time and money going here.

Slow service taking over 2 hours for basically 2 dishes on a not so busy Tuesday… and the price is ridiculous. 625 DKK (85 Euro) pr. Person for Antipasti + 1 pasta dish… Apparently they decided to remove the middle (Bisque/soupe) from the menu, so the only difference from the 485 DKK NORÐLÝSIÐ menu is the Salmon Carpaccio.

Dessert isn't included in the menu either, it's 50/60 DKK extra….

To be fair, the Potato pizza and pesto + bread is really good, but the rest unfortunately didn't live up to the...

Nice restaurant with really good food. Not really for tourists who wants to experience the Faroese cuisine. It’s an Italian restaurant. It set in and old warehouse and the decoration is very nice. Very slow service! Staff not trained at all, leave you waiting and waiting…even with an empty restaurant. The food was ok, but pretty expensive for what is offered and desert not even included.
