Good beer. Good service. A little bit too noisy with unnecessary loud music making conversation very difficult. This seems like a typical idiot mistake from the bar managers. Noone goes to a cozy bar/eatery like this to be overwhelmed by liud music. The place is very cozy and warm and welcoming otherwise. Just the sound level was unnecessarily high. Making the guests uneasy and unable to speak to each other. Ultimately it made us leave esrlier than we would have wanted. We went across the Street and had a beer at Locanda Scampi instead. Unfortunately sloppy and varying service. One guy was ok and friendly but how they run the kitchen is not up to the standards. Monthly special did not exist. The Shrimps were eatable but the pork belly was actually good. Then I ordered sweet potatoes to supplement but when the dish came to the table it was totally something else. Without asking, they had changed the dish to something else. After some discussion they fixed it on my proposal by bringing in something a bit more costly, so saved by the bell. Great neighbourhood bar in really cool area not far from the Skywheel. The barman was extremely hospitable, even allowing us to go and get food elsewhere, as the kitchen was closed, and keeping our bar tab open for when we returned. Super friendly guy, even making drinks he had never made before based on our suggestion. Would certainly visit again when next...
