Fredde's — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! We went here for our anniversary and it was our first time (and LAST) and we were super excited because the place looks really good. We ordered the Scampi for starters, 2 burgers (The fredde’s burger and the smokey one) and a cheesecake for dessert.

The starters took 20 mins to arrive and the main took an hour to arrive after the starter. By the time we were waiting for the dessert, we have been waiting for TWO HOURS! We just paid the bill and left. We didn’t even wait for the dessert anymore (we still paid for it tho) cause it would’ve came prolly for another 30 mins. to an hour again. THE FOOD WASN’T EVEN WORTH THE WAIT ANYWAY. IT WAS NOT THAT GOOD.

Fries were served cold (’cause it have been in the counter for too long and the waitresses/waiters take so long to bring them to your table) the burger was fine but it’s not really like anything special for a fancy restaurant level, it was even kinda dry.

WORST SERVICE TOO!!! The guy who took our order (and all the other waiters and waitresses) didn’t look like he wanna be there at all. He never came to check on our table not even ask if we want more drink even though he saw that our glasses were already empty. He was like avoiding us.

The table that came one hour after us got their food after about 20 mins. tho. Like are they just discriminating or what?

If you do go here, I hope you guys get atleast the female waitresses ’cause they looked better with the service. The older male guy just like forgot about us after taking our order and we had like 3 different waiters and waitresses...

For starters I ordered Bufala Mozzarella Brushcetta. The delivery was quite fast: around 7 minutes. The dish itself was actually quite good. It had some fresh vibes even though the "BBQ Bread" was a bit burnt. ||4/5 for the starter||

For the main dish I had Steak and Fries. Easily the most expensive dish on their menu. I ordered the beef medium rare. It took almost exactly 15mins for the dish to arrive; just perfectly as I had finished my starter. The steak was not cooked evenly and was quite dry on one side and almost raw on the other side. Some of the fries were raw. ||2/5 for the main dish||

For dessert I ordered, on the recommendation of the waitress, Sticky Toffee Pudding. It took around 10 mins for the dish to arrive. Keeping it short: it was over the top sweet. Even though I like sweet desserts, it was too much. At the bottom there was a muffin(which felt like premade and warmed up as the chocolate inside was melting and super hot like it was microwaved and as far as I know, muffins are not baked for under 20mins). Even though the bottom part was hot, the top part, a ball of ice cream, was a nice contrast to otherwise bit lame of a performance. ||2/5 for the dessert||

I really liked the mood in the restaurant. Of course it is a new place so everything was shiny and new(except the bathrooms). Overall the score I'm giving to this restaurant settles to 2/5. It's an okay restaurant if you're not expecting Michelin level of kitchen skills and food to be perfect. Maybe visiting again and might revaluate my opinion but for...
