Ordered tofu, and cauliflower tacos, they served us tofu, and chicken tacos. A lifelong vegetarian I took and swallowed a huge bite before I realised something was wrong. Can you confirm what this is, I asked? Cauliflower, he said, walking off... It doesn't look like cauliflower, I said. Oh, yes, I'll take that back, it's chicken, he said. I'm a vegetarian! I ate that! I cried. But no apologies, they didn't care. Perhaps they don't understand the trauma that accidentally eating meat creates for vegetarians? I was almost sick, and I cried, a little bit. Unpretentious good service, cocktails and outdoor seating in small park - though in sunny days the outdoor tables are often full, but there is more tables inside.
And yes, the plates are not big, so if you just want to have yourself stuffed as cheap as possible, this might not be your best choice. But I would say they have great value...
Read moreI had high hopes for this restaurant as I heard good things about from some Mexican expats. Unfortunately it did not live up to the hype, not even close.
First of all, the the service system with phone just doesn't work well. We accidentaly ordered double of the food than intended. Also, it's quite impersonal as an experience. Second, some of the food was not well cooked, the potatoes for example. And lastly, the taste was just not there for us. Quite bland and mediocre. It's a rare occasion that I'm not able to finish a dish because of the taste.
