Retro Enoteca in Helsinki is a bit pricey but the quality is excellent. I had the salmon 'nduja risotto, which was creamy, flavorful, and nicely balanced with the spicy 'nduja. The mushroom cream pasta was rich and comforting, and the tuna ceviche (fresh tuna with citrus and seasoning) was bright and refreshing — a perfect starter.
The staff were friendly and attentive, explaining each dish and making recommendations. The interior is casual and cozy, so it feels less formal than the food suggests, which makes the higher prices a little noticeable but worth it for the flavors. We had dinner her twice and tried the Creyfish mezzulune and the oxtail bolognese. Both dishes had a deep comforting taste and very nice presentation. For desert we had the saffron infused pear and the house tiramisu Which both were rich and delightful. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and gave excellent wine pairings for the food. If you visit Helsinki it is definitely worth...
