The Ultimate Meat Sandwich Destination in Finland! I recently had the pleasure of visiting Baba Döner, and I must say, it truly lives up to its reputation as the best meat sandwich spot in Finland. The experience was nothing short of exceptional.
From the moment I walked in, the enticing aroma of sizzling meat filled the air, instantly making my mouth water. The menu was impressive, offering a variety of options to satisfy any meat lover's cravings. I opted for their signature meat sandwich, and I was blown away by the flavors.
The meat was perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with delicious seasonings. The combination of spices used created a harmonious blend of flavors that danced on my taste buds with each bite. The freshness of the vegetables and the quality of the bread only enhanced the overall experience.
The service at Baba Döner was fantastic as well. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about their food. They were more than happy to answer any questions I had about the menu and even offered recommendations based on my preferences.
The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant added to the enjoyment of the meal. It's evident that the team at Baba Döner takes pride in delivering not only incredible food but also a memorable dining experience.

Read moreThe first time I would have given the place 5/5. The owner was present and so was were all of the components of the dish.
This time though, there were several things which didn’t live up to their expectations:
The fries were clearly made some time before serving, so dry.
The meat was cut much earlier, so also dry.
The salad didn’t have the dressing which, again made it a bit dry and not what I remember from the first visit.
There were two “decorative” potatoes on top , unlike the several which were present the first time.
If only one of the components were missing, I would still give the meal 5/5, since mistakes happen but the portion was unfortunately lacking in all three.
I do think this has to do with cutting corners to save time and being a bit easier on yourself when the boss is out. I hope the restaurant can keep up the quality, in order to keep the customers coming again. 15,90€ is on the pricier side for this type of...
Read moreI will write what was good and needs improvements
Good things: -service -quality tasty meat( not cheap meat, like in other cheap döner places) if you want to eat real meat, people needs to pay for it.
Improvements -sauce and fried vegetables inside the bread is something they never put in Turkey so destroys the taste( just to let know people: excluding is an option) i recommend if you dont like such sauces like me. Its matter of taste., cucumber also usually they do not put in Turkey. So i wouldnt prefer either. Sauce makes bread wet so crispyiness of bread goes away. Abit salad inside is nice but balance is important.
-fries on top döner- fries becomes wet. Try to separate somehow meat fries in plate.
-if you order döner ranskalaiset- sauces next to döner not needed. Doesnt match. Put salad maybe instead.
-coke from (hana) wasnt good. Maybe its pepsi or some cheap coke? Offer as option also...
