Shoku burger Vuorikatu — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

Definitely a nice surprise! We were about to go across the street when we saw Shōku burger. It looked different.

They saw us outside wondering where to go and invited us inside. A warm and welcoming staff will welcome you to a small but cosy one-room restaurant. It reminded us of one of those tiny japanese food shacks found by fisheries' markets.

We were expecting yet another burger place in Finland... But what a surprise! The burgers are juicy and tasty 🤤 Their fries were terrific! Crispy and soft! I'm usually not a fan of the French fries which most restaurant do not spend time turning into something that shines with the main dish.

Places are few around the Vantaa area. If you want to try something good and new, definitely try Shōku! A minus side might be the location which is a bit remote. Anyway, we wish you a successful journey, and look forward seeing you expand to other...

During a visit from Tampere to Vantaa, I visited Shoku Burger in Mikkola for something to eat with my wife. I ordered a Chili Burger with a side of House Fries and my wife ordered a Cheese Burger with a side of Sweet Potato Fries. The burgers were outstanding! The burger buns were fresh and slightly sweet. The burger patties were made in house, perfectly spiced and cooked. The sauces were excellent and the amount of sauce was perfect, not so much that it squished out everywhere and made the bun soggy. I recommend that if you are in the Mikkola area or near by and feeling hungry, that you visit Shoku Burger for undoubtedly the best burger...

Fabulous place to get a top notch burger meal made with 100% Finnish meat and locally sourced potatoes. The milk bread is made on the spot and is moist, spongy, and flavorful. The meat was cooked well and the fries were done to perfection. Come to Shoku Burger to get consistently great comfort food. This little gem is hidden behind the bar and restaurant and next to the market. There is limited seating, but take away is always an option. This was our first time going to Shoku Burger and certainly not our last. It feels good to support a small local business, especially when it tastes...
