I had a bowl of salmon soup here today, and it was wonderfully refreshing — light but full of flavour, just right for a sunny Helsinki afternoon. The soup included not just salmon, but also other seafood like shrimp and mussels, along with vegetables in a clean, well-balanced broth.

There’s a bread station where you can help yourself — a nice touch that makes the meal feel even more satisfying.

The sign at the entrance says Soup+More, so don’t be confused if you’re looking for “Soppakeittiö”! It’s located inside the Old Market Hall. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual — great for a quick solo lunch or a warm, local bite during your day out.

While I was visiting The Helsinki Local Market ( close to the Market Square) I found this place! The Gentleman who was the responsible, explained to me everything with patience! That day, they had only 3 types of Soup ; Salmon, beef and Veggies! We chose Salmon and it was the most delicious Soup I have ever had for a long time, full of mussels , shrimps and Salmon which serves with local bread and Pesto Sauce !
