Street Bar — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

A common people bar / restaurant. Not too shabby place. There's quite remarkable lunch buffet here with around 9 Euros price. Buffet has quite immense selection of various kind of food and nowadays quite decent vegetarian selection which is just superb. In case you're not fond to buffet menu you can get portion options from their à la carte menu.

Atmosphere and indoor milieu is really not too bad here but it's clearly quite typical bar feeling here. I'm quite pleased to see this kind of place here in this strongly gentrification oriented time. So this place is clearly for common people.

Contrarily to one of the comments posted here, from what we saw this is not at all a gay bar! And definitely not "the best gay bar in Helsinki". It was an average pub experience for us. Sure they have board games and show sports on TV, but this is not what we came here for. As tourists we have limited time, so we would have preferred to have known in advance that this is not necessarily a place where LGBT people meet up. It was still nice, but just rather neutral...

Generally I’ve had a positive experience when I go here but this last time I was deeply disappointed. I ordered a drink and inside was a piece of glass. After I showed this to staff they did nothing, no compensation, no apology, nothing. It is a very dangerous situation to have glass in a drink and I am deeply struck by their lack of care. On top of this, we paid 39e for only 2 drinks and a pack...
