It kind of brings you back to that vacation you had in Italy awhile back. From the kind of service you get, to the plate of pasta they put in front of you that smells and tastes like it came out of a Tuscan nonnas back yard. The tomato sauce is as authentic as it comes, not over-spiced or something you buy from a supermarket laced with sugar and salt just to make your taste buds happy.. No. This tomato sauce is boiled, pureed, strained, and canned with nothing but a bit of salt and a few basil leaves, with a small bit of olive oil on top to keep the sauce from drying out. It's true. It's healthy.

You don't leave feeling bloated and guilty, this meal was as rich and nutritious as you'd hope from a home cooked...

Great food, stylish but subdued decor, nice and calm atmosphere and great service make this easily the best restaurant in northern Finland. An extra style point above 5 for the white gloves that really should be standard for all staff handling food or utensils anywhere. The restaurant is situated in a central location in the city, and still regardless of everything the prices are average. The only thing (thankfully?)missing is the reindeer/lingonberry/cloudberry foods which are so common in Oulu. The salmon is...

Very good food, put nicely om the plates. The staff (actual Italian) was polite, helpful, and had good knowledge about the menu and ingredients. The outside of the restaurant looked a bit old and worn by weather, but the inside was nice, with a good atmosphere. Unfortunately, no other customers joined us, so we were alone in the whole restaurant. Many more customers should eat here. Also, it is close to the railroad station, and perfect for having a good dinner before travelling with the night train...
