This is a superb restaurant for important celebrations!

On my wedding anniversary I was looking for a romantic and fancy restaurant and this is by far the best price for money restaurant in Oulu. But don't be fooled that it has less quality than the others. It has even more quality.

I called to check if they had tables available and got an affirmative answer. In 30 minutes we were able to start eating.

My business partner and I are from New York and we were absolutely amazed at the incredible quality of food, exceptional world class flavor of taste, unique of keeping with Finnish cuisine and the best of all, the service. They took a simple Finnish ingredient and make it incredibly gourmet. I have never had better food in all of Europe. Absolutely fantastic. And to top this all, the service was class. Class. Class. Great menu, great wine pairing, nice location as well. Beyond great, however, were the personnel. Very accommodating and knowledgeable (great beard on one of them too). No issues with English, par for the course in Finland. They were also speaking a bit of German with us when they noticed that this is where we're from. Just a very enjoyable evening....
