Bokachá — Restaurant in Turku sub-region

The staff are lovely, the drinks are tasty (though I do not drink coffee so I cannot judge their coffee) and the atmosphere is very cozy. I frequently go there to study, often spending several hours there, and the staff are always very kind. They also have wifi, which makes this an even better study spot. It's not a very accessible place (a small step into the café, and no room to really navigate a wheelchair), and they do not have high chairs for children, but dogs are allowed. While the staff do not speak Finnish, they do speak English and will try their best to help you either way (one time I saw the staff get two Deaf ladies the right order, though they ordered something not on the menu card, so I think it is fair to say they will manage to get you what you request despite a possible language barrier). Staff wasnt very friendly or welcoming or helpful, made the experience not that great. I asked for help with the menu and when I suggested something the worker looked at me weird and suggested something with a weird tone. The worker didnt even pay attention once we left, as they were on a call with someone, and we witnessed another person say ”thank you!” When leaving the cafe, and had to repeat it since the worker was not focusing on it. In my opinion people working in customer service fields such as cafes should have a more attentive and friendly attitude towards customers, which would make me want to return. A truly great cafe at the central Turku. I ordered a matcha milk tea with boba but I unfortunately don't have a photo of it because I took it to-go. First time trying boba and it wasn't quite what I had expected but anyway let me tell you about that matcha tea. It was superb! Hands down one of the best cups of matcha I have ever tasted.
