Alkuperäinen museo oli nykyisen Olkun kohdalla Hämeenkadulla ja nykyisessä osoitteessa museo on toiminut vuodesta 1965. Museossa on näytteillä paljon taidetta sekä näyttäviä vanhoja huonekaluja ja sisustus artikkeleita. Museolla ei ole omaa pysäköintialuetta, mutta läheltä löytyy pysäköintitilaa. Oppaat olivat asiantuntevia ja kielitaitoisia. Käymisen arvoinen kohde.

Käytiin täällä heinäkuun alussa 2025. Käytettiin täällä Museokorttia. Sisään pääsi pihan puolelta. Meidät toivotettiin iloisesti tervetulleeksi. Ehdotettiin opastetulle kierrokselle osallistumiseen. Sen teimme ja se kannatti. Opas oli huippu. Hän esitteli museon esineistöä ja huoneita ammattitaitoisesti. Todella mielenkiintoista. Museon tiloissa sai myös tutustua itsenäisesti.
