The bad: The steak itself was very sinewy and with pockets of tough chewy fat, about half of the steak was not even edible (see picture) and my boyfriend nearly choked trying to eat it. My steak tartare tasted overpoweringly sweet because there was a whole lot of ketchup mixed in, which is to my knowledge not even an ingredient for a steak haché so why even add ketchup? Table for four at 19:00 on a Monday evening. Service was prompt and professional, restaurant was clean and all our dishes were very good.
Restaurant was about 1/4 full, busy enough for atmosphere but not enough to really challenge the staff.
Had the ribs, chicken, bbq plate and sea bream.
Also tried various choices of their ice cream / sorbet.
No complaints from anyone on any of the choices. We enjoyed the food and dining experience.
I have no problem recommending this restaurant based on their performance this evening.
