WOW, what can I say ONLY 3.6* seriously 😳🤷♂️.. we chose to visit this place as its centrally located in the village and had football on so thought why not. Have to admit I eat by star rating and normally wouldn't touch any place below 4.0* and search for 4.5*+ on Google but it looked OK and plenty of TV to watch the football at most seating areas. This place gets busy but if you go at the right time you can grab a good seat and I found even though it was busy, the service was excellent and the quality of food spot on especially for the price point. We both has pizza 🍕, my friend was recommended the TEX MEX by the owners wife and I had the Reine but upgraded it with spicy beef and salami which they were quite happy to accommodate. We both agreed that the bars of the pizza were perfectly cooked and they really did taste good. Would definitely go back for a pizza or another course and can't say anything negative about this place. I feel value for money you get more than you pay for and would recommend this place for all pizza lovers and people wanting to watch the football instead of the underground bar higher up the village,,,, plus what's not to love as you get to eat great food whilst you watch the game if you're short on time but want to eat out and can't miss the...
Read moreThe kids know this as “the crepe place” because they have so many customers that only stop for a crepe or waffle.
We were one of those people but when we saw the rest of the menu, we had to come back for dinner.
Price wise, it’s very good value for the food that you get combined with the service offered.
Very surprised that it averages 3.5 stars on reviews - I can’t think why!
This is a family run restaurant and it shows with the attention that you get as patrons. We’ve visited each time we’ve been in Val Thorens and the welcome is always a friendly familiar one!
The pizzas, pastas and burgers are all excellent but the selection of wine is very good too - better than you would expect !
We’ve not finished our bottle of wine before and were offered the cork so we could take it home - all without asking!
For dessert, the crepes are excellent, to the point where I’ve had two crepe suzette orders in...
Read moreIgnore the fact that it looks a bit like a diner: This is one of the best restaurants in Val Thorens. The staff are friendly (and speak good English, though were generous enough to accept my poor French). There is a wide range of good food. The fondue was served with a nice salad, and they have an interesting range of fondue and baked cheeses. We had the Fondue à la Provençale which contained nice roast vegetables. The goats cheese salad (from the salads of the world section of the menu) was tasty, large, and well dressed. Food is a reasonable price compared with other places in town. UPDATE: 2 years on and we visited again. Same friendly service,...
