Le Tivoli — Restaurant in Albertville

We chose this restaurants because we wanted to try something from tru french mountain cuisine and we weren't disappointed. The Raclette was just amazing, the waitress helped us with recommending local wine matching the dish, it was just perfect. Alle the ingredients are fresh and of amazing quality. After having main dish we wasnt sure if we manage to eat dessert also, but it was worth trying to fit it in. Freshly baked pear pie, delicious! I also have to say that the service was just amazing, the restaurant was fool but they had full control of everything that was going on, always helpful and with the smile on. I just wished our stay at Val Thorens would have been longer so we could have visited this restaurant...

Inferior food for too much money. We took milanese, steak, hot dogs, graten and pizza. The only valid dish was the pizza. The steak was really bad (after we replaced it as well!), the hot dogs were ok but far from good, and had weird pasta and cheese with it, without any taste. Thr milanese wasn't easy to chew, tasteless as well, and came with a non-sauce pasta(!), just pasta in water. And it even came with a red sauce - tomato sauce from can!! They didn't even try.. The graten was mediocre at most.

I'd give it 1 star, but considering the pizza was fine (not great) and the staff were also fine (not great), I'll give 'em 2.

Absolutely top class restaurant with excellent service. We booked a table for four at short notice and was delighted with the memorable experience and atmosphere in this restaurant. Very reasonable prices coupled with top class no fuss service. Staff were very well informed , professional and attentive. We were very impressed with the three meat (beef, chicken and veal) served on a hot stone. Fresh chips, crisp salad and amazing bread. Very generous portions and it was surely the highlight of our evening meal and probably the ski holiday! Anyone visiting Val Thorens should not miss this gem. If I return it will be the first place I will organise to...
