we arrived at the apartments at 8-00pm after being in horrific traffic ( no fault of ours) no reception and nobody in sight, read the paperwork which said we had to pick keys up from a coded safe from a totally separate location. Finding the place however was a real task like something from the crystal maze as nobody spoke English !!!|Eventually got the keys and opened the door to an apartment which was disgustingly smelly and very dirty. Supposedly sleeps 6 adults.|Consisted of 3 bunk beds in what I can only described as a prison cell and death trap for the person on top . The second room was big enough to fit a 3/4 bed in that slept 2 with 2 lamps that didn't work( we got ready in the dark every night ) and a tiny bathroom (all upstairs) downstairs was a kitchen come diner with a pull out bed.All very cramped for six and in need of a serious refurb. The kitchen hosted a wooden chopping board with the remains of tomato seeds from the last tenents . The real deal breaker though, was when we realised after putting cases in and just wanting to get out and have a quick bite.THERE WAS NO BEDDING OF ANY DESCRIPTION LEFT IN THE ROOM|We are in the year 2017!!! WTF!! We phoned the 24/7 hotline ( interhome) and were told we would be contacted on Sunday to arrange bedding. NO CONTACT BACK. They don't have any customer service at all. We slept on unwashed dirty sub standard bedding for 2 nights 😡😡😡 not acceptable at all in this century, we were treated like convicts!!!!! |After 2 days we eventually got it sorted, we got charged €118 😩😩😩|The apartment had already cost us £1500!!!|Location was ok right outside the bowling alley but really away from the main strip where restaurants and bars where .Probably about 7 min walk up a small hill. It was ski in ski out as Stated but the steep hill you had to climb with your skis etc at back of hotel although only being 50ft was a killer!!!|Avoid these apartments it is like going back in time , they where filthy , dated hell holes .Now on to Val Thorens .... The skiing was fantastic, probably ranks in the best we have had but the prices OMG!!!|2 small cans of Guinness in the bowling alley €8 each!! Generally a pint of beer €7,very expensive ( there taking the p*)|In short, get to Austria 🇦🇹 Very attentive, immaculately clean and...

All of the apartments in the block are privately owned so this review only applies to No. 177.||||Location: The apartment is in the centre of Val Thorens close to shops, restaurants and the sports centre; the bus station is a 5 minute walk away. Read moreI am skeptical about writing this review, purely because this place is such a gem! I stayed in the second week of March and have nothing but praise for this apartment. I went as a a group of 8 and can happily say this apartment provides more than enough room for 8 people, granted we were aged 24-25, so may not be used to some of the luxuries those a few years our senior may be accustom to. However this being said I have stayed in a number of apartments in various resorts and this offers significantly more room than the rabbit hutches found elsewhere. ||||The apartment is on the 6th floor and has a dual aspect balcony meaning sunshine hits it from 9am-6pm. The downstairs offers a well sized double bedroom, bathroom, modern kitchen area and large lounge/ diner area. The two sofas in the lounge are both double sofa beds, however pulling both out at the same time isn't possible unless rearranging the 8/10 person bench/ dinner table. ||||Upstairs there are 2 further bedrooms with twin beds, one of which has a bath and sink in as well as a further double sofa bed in the landing area. ||||The apartment is ski in/ ski out... a main blue run into Val Thorens runs directly behind the apartment and it is possible to ski to the backdoor of the ski room and vice versa a 30m walk bring you up the hill and ready to hit the slopes again.||||Ultimately this apartment provided the perfect mix of value, location and size for a great holiday... I will...
