Can't comment on the quality of the food because we never got to order any. We were seated and given menus by staff that was perfectly friendly enough, but when we were ready to order we were completely ignored despite numerous members of staff walking past our table a couple of times and us trying to get their attention and trying to talk to them. Friendly welcome but thereafter the service was disappointing. We asked to wait 2 minutes whilst we were still eating our starter and then had to wait an hour for our main course. No one came to check on us and both the table staff never looked or checked on us. The french onion soup to start with was really good and very tasty. Good size portion. This restaurant is the epitome of not being able to do enough for their customers. Absolutely outstanding experience from booking, lunch, service, and helpfulness. We felt so welcome, and the food was absolutely outstanding. We will definitely be breaking our "not going back to the same restaurant twice" rule, with Le Rooftop! Thank you for our best dining experience in Val Thorens. Cannot recommend this restaurant...
