How refreshing to find somewhere unpretentious yet excellent in Val d'Isere! Our fantastic waiter was delightful and spent time setting up and explaining hand-made puzzle games that kept us all occupied before the food arrived, even the hungriest of children! March 23 Great atmosphere, food and service. We were given a perfect table for 7 in the corner. Our waitress was really affable and very efficient. Dec 23- very different. We’ve been coming to Val d’Isère for the past couple of years and this year we decided to try a new restaurant. We were very disappointed with la Taverne d’Alsace. The food we received was served cold and flavourless.
