We were excited about having found a vegetarian, organic restaurant, but left disappointed.
At this restaurant you can choose two or three small dishes from a "proposed" menu with a "juice of the day" (€13.50 or €15.50 depending on how many you choose). We had rice with "curry" and a sort of vegetable quiche.
The quiche wasn't properly heated so we had to ask to heat it again and then it was still not really hot. The taste was alright. The rice with curry was totally different from what we expected. We expected an indian style curry with a sauce with coconut milk and some vegetables, but what we got was just a bowl of spiced rice. A bit dry and not even spiced very much. The juice of the day was a bit watery. My boyfriend had another type of juice, which was really good.
The interior is very basic which doesn't really provide a nice atmosphere. Service was friendly enough.
Frankly, I do not understand how this restaurant has a 4.7 rating at the time of writing. Maybe if you just want a smoothie or juice, it is fine, but I wouldn't recommend...
Read moreVisited Annecy because it is so beautiful. We did a bit of research to see if there were any vegan/vegetarian restaurants and this was the only one that came up. We turned up about 6pm, knowing that they closed at 9pm, without a reservation, to find that the interior was packed with a large party and there were very few seats outside. Luckily another couple were leaving and offered us their table (in the shade). We ordered the vegan burgers, but unfortunately the large party had taken all of the remaining burgers, so we ordered something different (can't remember what). The waitress returned to the table to say that they had found 2 further burger meals if we'd still like them....we did. They were made from jackfruit and the texture was unlike normal veggie/vegan burgers in France - really delicious! Restaurant is highly recommended for both food quality...

There is another review below about the rice dish only being spiced rice so this is not an anomoly and not understanding how this restaurant has such a high rating.
Unfortunately, I found it overpriced for what it is and misleading description on the menu. Not like any vegan restaurant I've ever been to with exciting and delicious food which makes people excited to be vegan, not sad!!!! :(
I'm afraid to say this is not good for the vegan movement and makes it seem like we only eat plain food. I appreciate you pick organic local ingredients, but the taste should NOT be sacrificed.
To increase customer satisfaction, you should give them the CHOICE of what to order and pay for, not a minimum of €13.50! Maybe someone just wants to have...
