L'Alpin — Restaurant in Annecy

Horrible service!!! Been in hundreds of restaurants but this never happened before. We sit on the terrace and we start ordering. At the end, the waitress goes through our order and says that we've ordered only 3 dishes, even thought we are 4 persons. Yes, that is true, one of us was not hungry, hence only 3 dishes. Then she calls what seems to be like a manager and he tells us that we need to either order 4 dishes or the big boss will not be happy. Haha, in what century do we live... we obviously say no, one is not hungry. They've told us this not possible and we have to leave. We obviously packed our things, stood up and left. To resto management, learn to treat your customers better... people these days like sharing dishes or simply or not hungry, even thought they are with 3 other...

My wife took a Poke Bowl Gambas salad. It was disgusting and not fresh at all.

I didn't want to order but the staff insisted I needed to order. Fine. I took an ice cream and they've put alcohol in there. Disgusting.

I told them I wanted something else, to show me the menu. Instead they removed the alcohol and the ice cream still had that alcohol taste. Absolutely disgusting.

Then the staff told me they were going to charge me for ice cream only not alcohol. Which they didn't in the end (apparently the boss decided to charge 12 eur for a ball of cream bathing in disgusting alcohol).

The food was bad and the customer service non-existing. Avoid if you can. There are plenty of other traditional restaurants with good food and helpful staff who won't be trying...

Je mange à l'Alpin 1 à 2 fois dans l'année depuis 2017 quand je viens sur Annecy. Je n'étais pas venu depuis 2 ans.

Changement de propriétaire depuis 2 ans environ. Ceux qui connaissaient l'Alpin avant 2021/2022 comprendront mon commentaire.

Pour info, je laisse 1 avis quand c'est positif et quand c'est négatif. Je ne suis pas là pour causer du tord à votre restaurant.

La seule personne agréable du restaurant, c'est la personne qui a discuté avec moi et mes 2 adolescents. Il a voulu faire 1 pari qu'il a malheureusement perdu et il a honoré les termes du pari, qu'il avait décidé lui-même à la base. Merci pour votre bonne humeur et sourire tout au long de la soirée.

On m'a conseillée 1 apéro alors que j'avais déjà choisi un autre apéro. La personne ne m'a pas écoutée quand je lui ai dit que je ne buvais pas d'alcool fort ! Donc forcément, j'ai bu à peine la moitié du verre. Et ce n'est pas de la mauvaise foi. J'ai des défauts mais le mensonge & l'hypocrisie n'en fait pas parti.

Au moment de prendre notre commande, Burger + 2 Plats de Gambas. La même personne me dit qu'il n'y a plus de gambas... Petit détail qu'il aurait fallu nous dire quand vous nous avez donné la carte. J'ai 1 doute sur le fait que les Frites soient faits "maison" mais on m'a dit "je ne sais pas, je vais demander en cuisine". C'est l'accompagnement que vous servez le plus et vous ne savez si c'est "fait maison" ?

Même chose au moment du dessert... Le dessert que je choisis, il n'y en a plus. On a pris le parti d'en rire avec mes 2 ados.

J'adore le cadre de ce restaurant. Je ne venais pas dans ce restaurant juste parce Fabrice le gérait. Il y avait une ambiance, comme à la maison, chaleureux, tout l'équipe avait le sourire. Le tout combiné avec la bonne cuisine en faisait un lieu...
