L'Artégal — Restaurant in Apt

She might be a racist. We visited her restaurant around noon time and asked about a table but she just said “No, no, no.” Then we came back there at 12:15, opening time, and we said to her we were 4 persons but she said there is no available table for us, fully booked. However, 2 of couples of French shall be without reservation but were able to have tables. After that, we checked comments of Google Map carefully and found similar racism experiences from her. I came here based solely on a favorable review from Frommers. WOW.. It was amazing. the decor was simple the wait staff was charming and courteous.. I came alone and they still sat me at a very nice table and as much as I would love to say it was just the ambiance that made me love the place. The food was outstanding. this is where my love of foie gras began and in many ways was shaped by.

We went here for some lunch, we were hoping for something small to eat. We ordered some drinks, on the menu there was a choice of entree, main or dessert, as we were after something small we were hoping to order just an entree.

The guy serving us said we had to order at least a main, it was not possible to order an entree on its own. When we said we will just have the drinks he threw his arms in the air and walked off. Absolutely shocking service, I work in customer service and would never dream of doing this, despite how frustrated I was.
