La Petite Moulerie — Restaurant in Arcachon

Zero stars. Awful experience. Service is terrible and extremely rude. Food is mediocre, but eatable. I’m not too picky when it comes to food. Ordered a dozen of oysters, a burger and two set menus. . Steak and burger - both medium. Oysters were ok. Mussels were not the best, but ok. Beef steak came as well done - okay, didn’t complain about it as I don’t really like to make a scene, and it was “eatable”. The burger came as rare. (Cut it in half and then saw that) It was for our kids to share and they won’t eat it. We complained about it and expected it to be replaced. Instead they took the half of burger and then after 15 In’s brought that half back like “now it’s medium”. lol. We declined to eat it and said we were not going to pay for half of the burger. Then when I went to pay the owner made a scene about it. The black waiter was extremely rude asking me if I was poor to pay for the food?!!! If I wasn’t with my family, I would not pay at all after such a comment. The self cost of that burger is no more than €5. And if a disappointed customer is worth €5 (especially when the chef doesn’t know how to cook meat ) - that’s all you need to know...

Nous sommes allés dans ce "restaurant" avec des amis (nous avons 19ans) un midi dans le but de faire une petite escale avant une navette vers les dunes du pila.

Nous avions 1h30 pour manger.

Nous sommes arrivés, pas un bonjour pas un regard, on nous demande super méchamment de facon très hautaine si on a réservé (sachant que c'est l'heure de pointe et que le restaurant est quasi vide), on nous installera finalement sur une table de notre choix (?? il n'y avait pas de réservations finalement sur aucune table??).

On commande directement à la carte, on a attendu 1h20, 1h20 d'attente le serveur ne nous regardait même pas, aucun regard aucune excuse rien du tout, on était parti pour partir sauf que le bus était déjà raté 🫶 Au bout donc de 1h20 d'attente pour avoir notre plat on recoit une vieille assiette quasi vide, les frites FROIDES dans une barquette miteuse et un hamburger pour ma part froid avec une vieille tranche de fromage même pas fondue, sérieusement 16e le plat pour une qualité affreuse le burger maison prend tout son sens...et encore que c'est mieux à la maison... bref une expérience des pires. Quant aux moules, les 3/4 sont vides et même expérience l'assiette est vide.

Les prix restent raisonnables mais la qualité ne suit pas le prix.

Un business qui se tient à faire le pitre avec certains clients dans le but qu'ils achètent un café par ci par là "Pour madame la petite coquine[...]" que je trouve personnellement choquant en public... Nous avons évidemment pas eu ce cirque étant donné que nous sommes étudiants haha on est parti directement après le "plat" rassurez vous...

Une ambiance très désagréable et qui marche à la carotte... Vous pouvez vous faire acclamer si vous voulez en donnant un pourboire (c'est ridicule vis à vis de l'ambiance macabre dans le restaurant).

Decent restaurant for mussels. Pretty stressed out serving crew when busy and long waits for tables. Steak was far too rare and when came back was burnt. It’s not hard to do this properly. Very poor beer selection for mussels and only Leffe on tap. Server was quite inexperienced and arrogant but thankfully another server came and sorted things out. Inside area far too hot, eat...
