Somewhat disappointing. This is not a ‘Cantine’ (canteen) but a restaurant, with an appealing ethic. The food was average: some better (vege pâte was savoury), some worse (houmous was flavourless), most was ordinary. A redeeming quality is that they are obviously trying hard to make good food so I will add an extra point for effort but not for enjoyment.

The value was average. The service was confusing: menus were written on a few walls but all were vague (‘plat du jour’, ‘tarte’, ‘assiete VG’), a sign asks guests to order inside but staff asked us to order outside, servers were very busy but they have to explain the menu to each customer because there is no useful description on any of the chalk boards.

Super earth friendly restaurant, no take away no waste.

Plat de jour (lasagna) and quiche (carrot). Both were very good. Was given water with parsley (twice).

The lasagna had a mix of veggies, carrot, zucchini, and maybe mushroom (not sure), with the main being a vegan meat and lentils. The sauce had an interesting flavor. Might have been coriander but to me seemed like a small amount of cinnamon as well. It was complemented with a salad which was also very good.

The quiche was mainly carrot and leek and other veggies. The crush was thick and crispy it reminded me of chicken pot pie crust. Very good. It was also complemented with the same salad.

I wanted to treat myself with a tasty, healthy lunch so my eye felt on this nice looking place. When I entered I asked something and I had the feeling the people were very stressed although it was not that busy. It took a long time to order and because they didn’t came, I ordered inside but the lady looked quite annoyed by that. The person who brought the food was also a bit impolite. The food was, in contradiction with the rude service, very good. I feel quite bad for not giving it more stars because of this.
