Jungle Arch — Restaurant in Arrondissement of Nanterre

Had dinner here on a Friday evening and overall we were quite happy despite some smaller issues. The food was tasty, especially the main. We went for the steak and it came nicely presented with great fries and a delicious pepper sauce as well as some salad leaves, which were good too. The dessert was so so, utterly forgettable and a bit dry. For my dessert, the tarte au mirabelles, the cream on the side wasn’t fresh but came from the can, which is always disappointing. The service was unfortunately a bit sloppy: I could observe the chef having finished preparing our meals and trying to bring over the waitress to carry the food to our table but despite several attempts and a relatively empty restaurant, she would only pick up the food some 3-4 minutes later (before having some leisurely chat with some other waiters), so the food wasn’t completely warm when it arrived. The worst place I could visit, the boss (a woman with red hair) is homophobic, she approached me to criticize my clothing and told me that in her time things were different, that she felt sorry for this time now with such liberal people , they should close it for being rude and homophobic, zero desire to return again.

Her boss lacks education, I hope that if she was homophobic at the time, in 2024 she will correct it, because my clothing does not belong to...
