The room itself was classified as a deluxe room, and spacious enough, but the layout was worse than that of the smaller room an acquaintance got. There was a very small toilet with a sink, and a separate alcove in the bedroom where the shower was. Directly in front of the shower was a large window facing an office building. There was a nice foldable work desk on one wall, but no chair to sit on while using it. The bed was comfortable (as well as the pillows) but deviding the room in an awkward way. Also, the finish on some surfaces looked unfinished, like a work in progress, especially the ceiling. This was much nicer in some other rooms, so it is not a design choice.
Worst of all was the coldness. Upon entering the room from the hallway, we could feel the chill entering our bodies, even with the regulator set on max temperature. Even using two blankets and holding each other, we were freezing. Upon telling the staff about this, they first showed us how to operate the regulator, but we had apparently done everything correctly. The next time, they sent someone to check the regulator, but he concluded that it was working as intended. Lastly, they just told us that the room held the hotel's ambient temperature, and could not be set higher. When we said that the hallway was warmer, they agreed to send someone to check again. At last, we had one night of good sleep before we departed.
All in all, we felt the hotel has a lot of potential, but lacks in some important areas. Not sure we would return on another occasion, but if we did, we would choose the...
Read moreI have no particular concern with our stay, the hotel is fairly well located and has good facilities. However the staff is not experienced and It seems like they don’t know much about what they are doing.
It started the day we arrived, we had booked a parking with an electric charger and early checkin a month in advance, The lady at the reception was surprised, not knowing if our room was ready, the electric charger was not working (we were not of course told in advance) then magically started working again when she asked around. There was an obvious lack of communication in the staff perceptible by the guest.
We paid all due charges before leaving, however, they decided to charge our bank card with two additional transactions; they are not able to explain to what they correspond to or produce a bill for it. They promised to reimburse us 2 weeks ago over the phone, that of course did not happen and our email to them remained unanswered.
All in all, the overall inexperience of the staff added to what i qualify as stealing unless proven otherwise is quite opposite to the quality of service they pretend to have. I would rather pay a little bit more and not have to go through all...
