Presentation of the food was good, and the taste was adequate. The ambience was lovely and staff was nice. I recommend to skip the filtered coffee (it’s quite bad) and get one of their latte drinks instead (pretty solid). Also be careful here if you’re an American; my French-speaking friends paid first and then waited outside, and it was very clear from our interactions that I didn’t speak a lot of French. The person ringing me up said my order out loud to me, which I confirmed, and then quietly added another item super last-second that I had not ordered, before then quickly flashing the total. I did not speak enough French to argue (and I did not want to make a scene over 5 euros) so I just pretended not to notice, paid, and left. I understand that they probably did this because American tourists don’t have the best reputation, but either way I felt that this occurrence was necessary to point out. But you should probably be fine if you speak French?

Nestled by the river, this cafe has a rustic charm. The cozy decor creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is exceptional, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavour. The service is friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The coffee was also amazing. We ate with four people and everyone enjoyed their meals, Highly recommended!

Well-located brunch restaurant in Bayonne. The riverside terrace makes all the difference ! Short menu, but there’s something for everyone. They offer a breakfast menu with savory and sweet options, including juice and coffee - 28e which is well worth the price. Not a big fan of their pancakes but good overall appreciation.

We had such a lovely time at the nomad restaurant! What a wonderful addition to Bayonne! Our server was amazing, she was patient with English and totally fluent; she even chatted with us about her life and asked us about ours. The food was exceptional. I ordered a simple dish of ham and cheese on toast, some guacamole and coffee. My husband loved his pancakes with avocado and smoked salmon. The outdoor seating right on the water with a beautiful view of Bayonne was a sight to behold. We loved every minute here and recommend Nomad highly! Merci beaucoup...
