The Artnoa House wines in Biarritz — Restaurant in Bayonne

My husband and I recently visited Biarritz before our return to the US. Stopped in this wine shop for a farewell bottle of wine. Although the shop had a nice selection of wine, we did not purchase any as we left in disgust , after watching the owner berate a customer who was trying to return a bottle of wine that seemed to have gone bad. His treatment of this customer was terrible, to the point of ordering her to leave the shop. It was embarrassing to this person resulting in tears as she left. This type of treatment is outrageous and we would never spend money in such a horrible place. He would not make it in the US WHERE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RESPECT are expected. Everything is sold by the glass or bottle so don’t worry if you want to try a good range on a reasonable budget.

En ce mois de février est annoncé à grand renfort de communication un événement à l’Artnoa qui reçoit le chef étoilé Fabrice Idiart afin de réaliser chaque vendredi et samedi de midi à 14h des sandwichs gastronomiques. Nous arrivons à 12h16 pour nous entendre dire que, victime de leur succès, il n'y avait plus de possibilité de servir de sandwich ! Quel amateurisme !
