From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm, inviting, and elegant—setting the perfect tone for the evening. Le Refuge du Calvaire is a great restaurant. We were recommended it when we went on holiday last month to a lovely apartment, called Vie de Cocagne. My husband and I had a nice dinner at this restaurant, which has a very interesting location - you walk a couple of minutes up a hill, and it is surrounded by nature. No trip to Megève is complete for us without an evening at the Refuge du Calvaire. This is our ‘go to’ place for fondue and raclette. On our recent visit however we chose to have steaks and both the Chateaubriand filet and the Argentine Angus were superb.
