Two days ago we wanted to finish our short trip with a nice breakfast here. All these 5* ratings must mean something, right? Well, if you’re not from around save the time. It’s a really nice bar and the food is alright, however it’s style and menu are generic and found in any city around the world - but this is our opinion. Generally objective it was ice cold in there, the coffee was thin and not hot, the fresh orange juice was tiny and the water bottle lid was moulded… however worst of all which made us write this review was the owner (?). A English speaking woman shouting about and celebrating herself which made us really uncomfortable.

To finish with something good, thanks to the rest of the staff which was really nice, warm and welcoming!

Ps.: @owner: we read your other reviews. Pls don’t waist your time on us explaining yourself or apologising or whatever you plan to do, just treat your guests as guest even when you are around to show off. Turn the heat up and change the moulded lids once...

Unfortunately this cafe did not live up to its high rating. The food was... okay. We had two egg dishes, both of which had slightly raw egg white and the flavour was just OK; considering the price they really didn't succeed in either flavour or generosity and personally I was a bit hungry after eating the "fish dish". My son's pancakes were very good. My daughter had the yoghurt and granola and she was very disappointed because the granola had a bitter, burned flavour and she couldn't finish it. Quality for price was just not there. I have rated three stars instead of lower because the two staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially in finding a recommendation for my son to eat, and that improved the experience. The coffee was...

I recently visited Café Ériu in Bordeaux, and it was an absolute delight! The food was lovely, with a menu that offers a nice blend of traditional and innovative dishes. Everything we tried was fresh and flavorful, and you can tell the ingredients are top-self.

The service was impeccable as well—friendly and genuinely welcoming.

What really sets Café Ériu apart is its fabulous vibe. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, making it a perfect spot to start your day. The decor is stylish and reflects the cool, upcoming neighborhood where it's located. You can feel the energy of the area, which is definitely on the rise, and Café Ériu fits right in as a trendy breakfast joint that locals and visitors alike will love....

Recommended by "Lost in Bordeaux" as one of the top 5 brunch/coffee spots is and absolute find. From the warm welcome and delicious food I couldn't recommend highly enough. The team of 3 were turning out plate after plate of delicious food and great coffee. It was put first stop on day 1 in Bordeaux and again on day 2. I'm sure if we had a 3rd day it would have been the same. We had pancakes day 1 with coffees and orange juice. Day 2 was pancakes eggs and bacon. The pancakes in particular were a stand out. Special shout out to Tammy who was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived :) . Lisa Dan and Jack from Ireland.
