GSC ROTISSERIE BOUCANE — Restaurant in Bordeaux

If you are in Bordeaux and want a great, home cooked meal made with love, I definitely recommend this restaurant. Samantha was an awesome hostess, making me feel at home. We ate at her buffet style place, and trust me when I say this - this will be one of the better meals you’ll ever have. Everything was made excellently. Between the fish, the shrimp (amazingly done!), the chicken and even the veggies, you will have an unforgettable meal. In one of the gastronomy capitals of the world, this stuck out as my most memorable meals I’ve had anywhere!

However, the bigger highlight than the food is the service. Samantha immediately brightened up the day by being extra courteous and nice, and she makes you feel like you are visiting her house.

Nous sommes venu dimanche soir après avoir cherché une adresse d’un bon resto antillais sur bordeaux. Les avis nous ont mené ici. Le lieu est très chargé mais à la limite ça passerait. Vient le moment de commander, la jeune fille nous explique que nous pouvons profiter d’un buffet à volonté pour 28€, avec comme promesse du poulet boucané, poisson grillé, et autres mets… en effet dans les 8 récipients présents il y avait le poulet et le poisson, présent ici depuis de nombreuses heures déjà, desséchée et pas frais du tout. Dans les autres, ceux qui n’étaient pas vides, des pâtes ou du riz, complètement passé. Un avocat garnit qui avait le goût de frigo… concernant les boissons, pas mieux, aucun choix à part quelques sodas, et pas accessible sans faire déplacer la jeune fille qui était en fauteuil, nous n’avons pas oser reprendre une boisson pour ne pas déranger. Aussi aucune ambiance, nous avons profité tout le long du son de la série que les personnes qui travaillaient là regardaient sur leur tel.
