Michelin star level dining experience at an incredibly reasonable price.
So, I got to pick the lobster and before I knew it, Voila, the best damn lobster I ever eaten in my life was served. Perfectly cooked, succulent is sweet flavorful.
The lobster served on a bed of Pommes frites, again on a completely different level, crispy, savory on the outside with a crunch yet creamy on the inside with the perfect golden brown color.
Their suggested white wine pairing, sublime. A Chardonnay that will Purge your memories of the awful American chardonnays.
How do you finish a masterpiece like this? Well, I selected the chef's cheesecake. This is not a heavy dense New York style cheesecake it was quite light yet incredibly flavorful at the same time with again the crumble base amazing.
This whole experience was wrapped with warm efficient service. I did not wait for anything all was served properly
what's the end result well ended up getting this amazing gin and tonic.
The verdict is, because of this capstone of culinary delight I know I will definitely return to Bordeaux and I will definitely visit this restaurant. Again, highly recommended. If you come to Bordeaux, take the time to reserve a seat and enjoy an...

We had a half lobster and the chicken and both were great. It was the owner who squeezed us in at the last minute, made us feel very special and welcome and then proceeded to do the same for many of the other diners, celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary for one couple and playing their favourite love song, bringing cheers from the crowd and tears to their eyes. The whole very small restaurant bonded, with the owners bon homie and the whole night felt like a small party. I’m not sure if this happens every night, but i get the feeling it’s not uncommon. If you want good food, well priced and the friendliest service -...
Read moreMy favorite place in Bordeaux! We even went back a second time which I rarely ever do on a trip. I'd recommend making a reservation as it's a small place inside. The service is great and the food even better. The shrimps as a starter come with a really good garlic dip and the half lobster with fries is great too. But the absolute highlight is the lobster pasta, I could have that every day! The creme brulee is pretty amazing and with the perfect crunchy top.
Summarizing, I'd be a regular here if I lived...
