La Belle Epoque — Restaurant in Bordeaux

We strolled in off the lovely river walk and were given a wonderful table and treated to attentive service. The restaurant is charming and exquisite from floor to ceiling. The menu had lots of variety and surprises and everything was delicious. But I would have just been happy sitting there with a cup of tea and letting my eyes wander from one beautiful tiled area to another. Beautiful café/ bistro right on the corner of Quincones square and the water front. Pricey, but very good service and food.

The name of this place appropriately highlights the beautiful interior and its colorful, wood-paneled walls. The very friendly service is fast, and the food of high quality. Prices, especially for the drinks are steep though, with soft drinks being around 4-5 Euros each.

We had a delightful lunch on beautiful spring day. We sat outside and our waitress was very friendly and efficient.
