La Vie Moderne — Restaurant in Bordeaux

Seemed like a cool place to grab a quick drink. Wasn’t crowded when I wanted to go so seemed perfect. As a young Latina who reads French better than speaking, I was made uncomfortable by a bartender there. There were two other men in the bar and the bartender made it very clear he was talking about me and then kept asking me questions all mumbled knowing that definitely wouldn’t be able to understand him if I tried. After about 3mins of the most awkward and uncomfortable exchange ever, I awkwardly excused myself and left. I just wanted a quick drink and to be left unbothered. Give this place a wide birth. The Happy Hour glass of wine cost 5€ and Pina Colada was 6€, hardly giveaway prices.
