One of the worst restaurants we have tried In our life. Really disgusting. The premise is fun, you choose the wine and the chef choose the meal. Ok. No problem with this, if you enter into the game and you fail, is your problem, not the restaurant.
BUT
Every single elaboration was a failure.
First dish: laminated beet. HORRIBLE. The beet and a beet puree Âż? with another insipid (Âżleek?) puree. One Of The Worst Things I Have Put In My Mouth Ever. I dont like beet, but even for a person that does not likes beet, this was an insipid and dry and horrible failure.
Second dish: raw pork with potatoes and really bad cooked vegetables. Dude, learn to peal an asparragus and learn to cook it. For gods shake. There is a diference between âcruditĂ©â and âraw. And the meat was also raw (pork) and half of it was grease, so there was very little to eat. Another Disaster.
Third Dish: ice cream (ok), cookies (they were great) and LEAK. Yes. LEAK. Because you are a genius. Martin Berasategui doesnt use leak with icecream. Dabiz Muñoz does not uses leak in a dessert. But you do. Because you are a genius.
Because you are the best.
The best of the best.
The service was slow. And without a warning he allowed the table next to us to have their dog and the animal kept on disturbing us, (stepping with his legs pn our table!!). We love animals, but when we complained about it (I dont want the leg of any animal in my dish!) the owner did absolutely nothing.
In then 200 euros for a 4 person meal with a mediocre wine.
In the door there is a letter saying the restaurant is cloosing...
Read moreThe WORST restaurant in Bordeaux. We ordered 39 euros course menu for each person. The chef provided me smelly outdated fish for the main dish so I said it is smelly. And then the chef offered me that he will change my main dish. But instead of my main dish, he gave me a small side dish composed of 3 pieces of oily crab wrapped with radish( the radish was not fresh and the crab was too oily). I was hungry after all. The starter was also outdated I think. The tomato jelly with real olive...was too bitter for me and my husband. And the beef steak for the main dish was tough to eat. We spent about 90 euros for nothing. We regret to visit this restaurant. The ingredients were not fresh. I think the chef wanted to give away first all the outdated food to us...Maybe.. he underestimated us? We were the only customers at lunch that day. I often pass by this restaurant and I don't see many customers. It means that the ingredients can be easily outdated or rotten. I have no idea why this restaurant get all the...
Read moreSimply horrible, entering the place my expectations were not very high but I have to say that you surprised me "monsieur". If I have to go into detail about the food that my stomach has had to endure, I would pass my phone to the toilet so that it could write for me, it would be much more sincere on our part. My strange experience on your gastronomic trip has been accompanied by a dog inside the place that was being fed, (perhaps the enthusiasm he showed for the food would explain that it was nothing more or less than food. for dogs) In my briefest moment of lucidity after my daze after this meal, I wished with all my might that someone would come out of a bush with a television camera to congratulate me for enduring such a meal and reward me with the âŹ200 it cost us. your experience. Monsieur has a lot to improve starting with...
